Nelson - Shaner Advertisement
Friday, December 21, 2007 MONMOUTH - Karen Nelson and Nicholas Shaner announce their engagement.Parents of the couple are Stanley and Jean Nelson of rural Monmouth, and Phillip and Sharon Shaner of rural Bradford. The bride-elect is a graduate of Yorkwood High School and the University of Illinois where she earned a bachelor's degree in agribusiness. She is a grain originator with Consolidated Grain and Barge Co. The groom-elect is a graduate of Stark County High School, and the University of Illinois where he earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural education. He is employed at Avon High School as an agriculture teacher. They will be married March 8, 2008, in Bradford. A reception will follow at the Galleria in Princeton.
